Little Sister

"Little Sister” was the first painting of my “Little Sister” series.
To me, the image suggests familial love, trust, and support in an uncertain environment. The theme has allowed me to continue placing figures in unexpected outdoor environments. Though I've represented the lives of children in earlier work, this group suggests new, more tender narratives.
