Detroit Abandoned Detroit Gas Station, Winter Night

I had been stalking this post automotive age,, dystopian site for months when I saw it after a snowfall and drew it on black foam core from memory and photos. Snow had fallen a few days before leaving sculptural slush to pick up ground reflections. The misty glow in the sky was from reflections above the snowy roof. Water soluble pencil and my decades of architectural practice combined to make this subtle image.
